Why Join the MSCA?

For over 70 years, the MSCA mission has been to “Protect, preserve, and enhance the quality of life on Monte Sano.”

Over the years, this has meant

• Establishing the water system

• Starting Monte Sano Elementary School

• Starting the Monte Sano Club

• Stopping a proposed sewer system that would have involved explosives in favor of the current grinder-pump system

• Stopping a proposed four-lane expansion of Monte Sano Boulevard

• And so much more

Today this means

• Protecting the mountain greenspace from future development and other threats

• Supporting future civic projects

• Building a stronger community

• Celebrating our remarkable legacy contributions to the moon landing
