Summit at Monte Sano
Monte Sano Neighbors,
There has been a lot of inquiry regarding the proposed development on the 47 acre lot off of Bankhead Pkwy. This property was sold within the last two years and See Forever Development Property, LLC is now seeking rezoning approval from the current R1A zoning to PD-H to allow for their planned development.
The proposed development, if rezoning is approved, would permit the construction of up to 64, multi-story, single family attached and detached housing units (approx 2,200 - 4,000 sqft with a maximum building height of 3 stories). There would be one entrance connected to Gaslight Way.
Publicly available information referencing the proposed development and rezoning proposal has been consolidated in a shared Google Drive Folder: Summit at Monte Sano - Public Info
This includes the rezoning application and modification request, the site development plans, the traffic study and control plan, the environmental assessment and geotechnical report, and the storm drainage report.

If the rezoning is approved, the rezoning ordinance will be published in the Huntsville Times and effective on 3 June 2022 allowing development to begin.
