Background on Elevated Water Tank
We received some official background information on the Monte Sano Elevated Water Tower and its recoating project. The 150,000 gallon tank was built in 1957 and is approximately 160 foot tall. The exterior of the tank was last coated in 1996.
Summit at Monte Sano
There has been a lot of inquiry regarding the proposed development on the 47 acre lot off of Bankhead Pkwy. We have consolidated publicly available information referencing the proposed development and rezoning proposal. There are also 3 events to be aware of that you can participate in to voice your concern or support.
Last Call: Update Info for Directory
Residents are very excited and anxious to finally receive an updated Directory. In order to complete this, we have to get your information ASAP in order to get the information ready to go to print so we can distribute sooner rather than later.
Electronic Speed Sign in front of Elementary School
We now have 3 electronic speed signs in our neighborhood! 2 on the Boulevard and 1 on Nolen. This is not common and most neighborhoods don’t even have one electronic sign.
January ‘22 Board Meeting Summary
The new MSCA board is up and running. The first board meeting of the year was held on January 13th with all the board members in attendance. The four hour meeting covered a lot of ground, addressing multiple topics of concern as well as plans for future community events.
